From 16 to 18 March 2012, New World Saigon Hotel celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with a “Weekend of Savage Craic”, a common term used in Ireland to describe fun, entertainment and enjoyable conversation with good friends.

Executive Chef Philip Golding and his team plan to surprise all guests with exciting brunch and dinner buffets at Parkview, offering a fantastic selection of Irish delicacies.

“I feel that the secret and beauty of Irish cookery lies in its simplicity. Our buffets will not only include a good Gaelic Stú (Irish Stew) and buttered cabbage, but also creations such as Braised Beef Brisket in Guinness, Lamb with Colcannon, and an Irish Whiskey and Marmalade Bread and Butter Cake,” he says.

A carefully selected assortment of favorite Irish farmhouse cheeses will compliment the offer,” Golding continues.

To compliment the Irish weekend, a free flow of green beer, soft drinks, Irish coffee and tea will be served at New World Saigon Hotel’s popular signature restaurant.

Beyond that, the hotel’s two bars will be serving Irish beer in buckets together with a menu of selected Irish specialties to comfort both the Irish, and those who are Irish just one day.
