Today’s retail marketing world is more complex than ever. Marketing strategies and tactics of the past are not sufficient to meet the challenges of today’s retail consumer marketplace. Connecting with consumers and shoppers and creating loyalty with them is as challenging as it has ever been for retailers. 

 

With the advent of Shopper Marketing, the prevailing go-to-market strategy has entered its next stage of evolution. While Shopper Marketing has largely been associated with traditional CPG retail environments, its insights and principles are manifesting themselves as a powerful force for retail financial services firms to build brand equity and facilitate business growth.
 
This two-day interactive workshop offered by UNI Strategic focuses on the discipline of Shopper Marketing and its emerging application to the financial services sector. The course examines the evolution and definition of Shopper Marketing, the classic principles and tenants of Shopper Marketing, and the state of Shopper Marketing in the retail space. It also addresses leading practices employed by retailers to achieve competitive differentiation, and go-to-market strategies for Shopper Marketing within financial services firms. 
 
Delegates will examine and dissect the critical dimensions of Shopper Marketing within their own firms, including the customer’s shopping mode, the shopper marketing stimuli, the branch environment as a marketing medium, the customer’s path to purchase, as well as other related concepts. Delegates will also participate in team exercises designed to let them apply what they are learning not only to hypothetical scenarios, but also to the challenges and circumstances they are facing within their own financial organizations.
