The IELTS Preparation course is suitable for adult Intermediate learners (IELTS band 5.0 – 5.5). This course combines thorough development of student reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. Emphasis is also placed on broadening essential IELTS vocabulary range and putting it to productive use, pronunciation and reviewing specific prioritised grammar areas.
The course also provides students systematic test preparation, hints and practice. Three progress tests are given throughout the course in order to check students’ understanding and skill development progress in order to give feedback on key strengths and areas for improvement.
Furthermore students develop essential independent and critical thought processes. This is crucial in helping students successfully undertake the Writing and Speaking Tests.
This course offers 20 units that cover a wide range of both motivating and the most common IELTS topics and gives an opportunity for students for the most effective progress with regular feedback given. Full use of the internet will be used in class by the teacher to assist students with their in-class learning. Students will also be directed to download our learning resources from our website to assist them in their independent learning.
